the GazettE is back with their ninth album, with their new single "Falling" for their 16th anniversary. Their album is titled Ninth. "Falling" was released at 12a.m. JST time on 10th March 2018 on their website. However, because of high traffic, the website crashed and fans were only able to view the music video several hours later. To watch the music video, watch it on: the GazettE's official website.
the GazettE is a visual kei band formed in early 2002, with members Ruki (vocals), Aoi (guitar), Reita (bass), Uruha (guitar) and Kai (drums). To know more about the GazettE, read my previous review on them: THE GAZETTE – ROCK N’ ROLL IS NOT DEAD.
As compared to the GazettE's previous albums, Beautiful Deformity and Dogma, Ninth is an album that gives you a sense of nostalgia as the GazettE goes back to their unique and characteristic sounding style. They're no longer in their 'dark/ cultish phase' and it seems like they're moving on to a completely new conceptual era.
The music video itself is aesthetic. Ruki looks like he's back in 2010, as his hairstyle gives us a sentimental feeling of the GazettE's "Red". Ruki's vocals are amazing and melodic as usual and the guitar shredding from Aoi and Uruha never fail to amaze.
The lyrics for this song is twisted, as seen in the music video itself. Below are the official lyrics for "Falling":

As they say, 'Rock n' Roll is not dead'. I can't wait for the album listing and other tracks from Ninth. There are 12 songs altogether for this new album. To keep updated, visit The GazettE at their official website and/or Twitter account.
